Boring.....

I guess this is what Jaycee thinks of watching daddy get his hair cut....
....she was watching at first, looking at us like, "what are you doing?" but then it was just too boring I guess. :)

Birthday Parties

We celebrated the June birthdays of our family today. Ronnie turned 28 on the 3rd, Jack turned 22 on the 7th, and Mary turned 20 on the 9th. It was fun to get together. The kids were all cute, as usual! :)
Jack and Mary had to share their brownies because Ronnie's age took up the whole pan!!!Ronnie blowing out her candles.Cute Girls!I thought this was cute how all the girls had a book to read! :)It looks like Kayani's giving Jayce the eye because "that's the book I wanted!"Oh, how cute! The chairs were put there to stop the girls from going up or down the stairs, and Jaycee was determined to figure out how to get around them!

Bradford Olympics

Grandma Bradford turned 70 years old this month, so we planned a party for her yesterday. Ryan actually planned the whole thing and called it Bradford Olympics...he wanted Grandma to be able to have fun and not feel like all the attention is just on her, since that's not how she is.

Anyway, it was lots of fun! The events weren't normal events for the Olympics, and that's what made it fun! There was a short sprint, laso golf, golf chipping, farthest frisbee toss, paper airplane contest, jump rope, hula hoop, peanut butter cracker eating contest, word search, bowling (with empty Tropicana and Gatorade bottles), and a cheer about Grandma. They were really fun! Everyone had to sign up for at least three events, but I think most people did more. I think most everyone had a good time, and it turned out really well.

The rain that was going on before we got there, stopped just before it started, and then started back up again AS SOON as we were done with the events. It was amazing! We were very grateful for that! Overall...it was pretty fun!

Kayden was eating the peanut butter crackers, and this captured him in the moment of needing to throw up....which he did end up doing! Ewww! But he's not the only one who got that feeling while doing this event.Marissa jumping while Lisa and McKinley time and count her jumps.Grandpa doing the laso golf.Beau climbing the fence where the frisbee toss was taking place.Shana was in charge of the airplane contest.Jaycee was giving grandma a hug, and saying "aaaaawwwwh" at the same time! :)Grandma and her youngest great grandchild on her 70th (well, technically 5 days before).Lisa & Mandy doing laso golf.

The Girls' Cheer for Grandma.

The Boys' Cheer for Grandma.

We gave out gag gift prizes for the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners at the end, and also gave an MVP award...this is it, and Scott looked sooooo beautiful in it! :)Dave conducting "Happy Birthday." Doesn't he look great!?!?Jana's wonderful cake! She always does such a great job. She actually made 4 cakes, this is just the only one I photographed.Jaycee was in HEAVEN eating that sucker! She got so messy by the end of it! :)I tried to get Brooklyn to say cheese.....obviously she was NOT going to do that for me. She doesn't seem to like me much usually. :(

Of course, the boys decided to play a little basketball after everything was done.....well, Ryan came down on Don's foot, and we thought he broke his ankle. So we ended up going to Grandma & Grandpa's to put it up with ice on it for a little while to see if we needed to go to the doctor. The swelling went down after a bit, so we just decided to go home. No worries though, it got better about 5 or 6 days later, and I don't think it was ever broken, just sprained pretty bad.

St. George Wedding Road Trip

One of my favorite people got married in the St. George Temple this last weekend, and we were able to go down to it. I was SOOOO excited for her when she announced her engagement, and even more excited to be able to take a short road trip down to her wedding! I love road trips and like to go on at least one every year, even if it's just short like that.
Anyway, we left Thursday and were able to stay in Ryan's Uncle Dave's empty house down there. Thanks again Dave and Shana! We went to the outlets on Friday morning and roamed around, and then in the evening it was Ali & Perris' reception. Mom, Misti, Benji, Ethan, & Aubree joined us there that night. It was a fun weekend! I'm so glad we went and were able to enjoy a small vacation this year. It was nice. The wedding was Saturday morning, and then they had a luncheon right afterward. That evening we all got together at Glenn and Pam's and hung out. Then Sunday morning we woke up, got everything packed up and left for home. It was quite fun! Here are some pictures of the beautiful Bride and Groom, family, and the car ride! (I took some pictures from everyone else, because I didn't have my camera at the wedding. So thanks guys, you know who you are! :)

She really did well on that long of a drive. Thanks sweetheart! We love you!The way Aubree was most of the time...she only wanted Daddy or Aunt Misti to make her happy. If she looked at any of the rest of us....this is what we saw (and heard)! :)What Ethan did in the car...he watched a few movies, but it kept him happy! How Ryan acted most of the time! :) Just kidding he was pretty good for the most part too! he he he

Roofing Fun

Part of Mom's roof was really messed up, as you can see below, so some of her neighbors and Misti's friends volunteered to help fix it! It looks great now! :) Here are some pictures of our fun day!
Before....Everyone busy at work....during...Ethan wanted to get up there all morning, so Benji finally let him after most of it was done! Some of us had to stay on the ground to watch kids and clean up the mess they threw down to us.

Reading

Jaycee has been LOVING books lately, but my most favorite thing she does is sits in the middle of any floor to read. I was cooking dinner one night, and she went into her room, got a book, and brought it back into the kitchen to read it. I think she just likes to be with people like I do. Unlike her daddy, who could hibernate all day in a dark room and be okay with it! :) Anyway, I think it's funny when she does that, so I captured the moment. Sorry the pictures are a little blurry, I was trying to get them before she got up, but notice the book is upside down....we're still learning that one!
