Our Little Acrobat

Jaycee loves to hang upside down, so I thought I'd share a pictures of it! She's so funny, I'm pretty sure she's gonna be a daredevil when she gets old enough.

I just really like this outfit, and the little girl in it, so here are some other cute pictures!

She loves to growl lately, and I finally got some of it on video. Notice the beginning how she decides to hold Goofy...........in her mouth, by his nose! :)

6 Months Old!!!

Wow! We have a six month old little girl! I can't believe it's already been that long! She is the light of our life! I don't know what we would be doing with our lives if she weren't a part of it! We love you soooooooo much Jaycee Jean! :)

Her well check was actually a week ago because she had a rash we wanted to get checked. But we had to take her back in today to get her immunizations, since she wasn't exactly 6 months old yet, she couldn't get one of her shots or the flu shot. So rather than doing some last week and two today, we just waited to do them all today. She did really well, she did cry, but not for too long. It is always heartbreaking to hear her cry like that, but I know it will be for her own good, and she won't even remember later, right?!?!

Anyway, she is getting so big, and we love to see every new thing she learns. She has been in the 10th percentile since she was born (yes, she's always been a little on the small side), but she is growing! Here are her stats, and some things she is able to do......

  • Height - 24.75 inches (25%)
  • Weight - 14.4 pounds (25%)
  • Head Circumference - 16.25 cm (25%)
  • She can sit up pretty well on her own now!
  • When she lays on her belly, she pushes her upper body up with her arms, but she's not quite to the actual crawling yet.
  • Loves to laugh at her daddy & any funny noises or faces you make at her.
  • She is gonna be our little daredevil, 'cause she likes to fly and be upside down! She's so funny!
  • Her newest thing is growling at everyone and everything! It's pretty cute, and when you don't know she does it, you wouldn't expect that it came from her since she's such a small little girl!
  • She also does this new thing, I think because she's teething, where she'll act like she's chewing something....think of a ventriloquist puppet, that's kinda what it looks like. It's VERY funny, I hope to catch it on tape one day!
  • She can hold her own bottle, when she feels like it. :)
  • Eats all her cereal like a big girl.
  • Sleeps well at night (at least 5, but usually 6 hours straight). She's always been a great sleeper, though, I feel very blessed!
  • Grabs at everything you might have close by her!
  • Loves to play with toys, and anything that makes noise.
  • And her legs do not stop kicking!!! She loves to be as stiff as a bored and stand as much as possible!

We're so glad to have her in our lives! It's fun to see who she resembles (her daddy) and what her personality will turn out to be like! She's one of the most beautiful little girls I know, and we're so happy about that! I hope her life is all she hopes it will be, and I hope I will be able to teach her all she needs to learn. Especially who she is! We love you baby girl! Thanks for choosing our family to join!

Sick but Oh So Silly Little Girl

So, I think Jaycee's been a little sick or teething the past couple of days. She has only been awake for about 14 or 15 of the last 48 hours, and when she is awake, she's a little cranky, has a little bit of a runny nose, and only eats a little bit at a time, which is NOT like her at all! And she's been drooling like 3 times as much as normal. She's tired all the time, but has a hard time actually falling asleep, so here was a tender moment, I captured, of Ryan trying to help calm her down enough to fall asleep.
Jaycee laughs a ton when she's tired (like that giddy laugh I'm sure most of you do too, I know I do), but every time I try to get it on video, of course, she stops. Argh! This time, I got it, and it was soooooooooooo cute, I had to share it with you all! Enjoy it as much as we did! :)

Halloween Bibs

Jaycee's Great Grandma Bradford sent the girls these bibs for Halloween. We were going to take these pictures on Halloween, but seeing as how they hated taking the pictures in their costumes, we decided to wait until today to do these ones. Some turned out pretty cute though.
They'd only look at Grandma when she was making funny noises, so that's why they're looking in that direction.
Just a couple of silly girls.

Them by themselves. Jaycee somehow always sneaks her hands in that position when taking pictures, it's her pose!

Belly pictures don't usually turn out too great, but these were pretty cute!
It's like they don't want to share that huge pumpkin! :)

I thought this one was so cute of them just looking at each other.

Cheese ball Jaycee!

Two Extremes!

Ryan decided to get a hair cut after having it super long for a while, which, by the way, looked good when he would gel it 'cause it was just curly. So he went from one extreme to another. His hair is usually in between these two!
Before......

After.....

He and Jaycee now look like TWINS!!!! Don't mind her funny face. :)

Our friend, Zach, has had a shaved head for a while, so now Ryan looks like him, too! So here are the triplets!

Happy Halloween!!!!

Jaycee's first Halloween, Yay! She was such a cute little ladybug! We were able to go visit all of her great grandparents, and then to her grandparents to see her cousins. It was a fun, busy night!
Cutest Ladybug!

Just showing off her wrinkles! :) This is what she did every time I put her in the costume, but once she was in it, she was okay.

The Naylor Greats!

The Hatch Greats!

The Whicker Greats!

Here are my Halloween treats! Jaycee was SUCH a nice girl and decided to take a nap for about 2 1/2 hours so I was able to bake everything and almost get it all done before she woke up! I was so grateful about that! Ryan's mom wanted everyone to bring a Halloween treat of some sort to her party, so I saw the mummy cookies in a Halloween recipe book and thought they would be pretty great. Then I saw the spider cupcakes online and thought they were cute, so I decided to make them both! :) It was pretty fun, when you don't have to worry about entertaining a 6 month old at the same time! It was GREAT!!! They turned out pretty good too!

Diana's costume! She tried to scare the girls with this, but they aren't big enough to really care yet. They both just stared at her instead. It was pretty good though!

Brooklyn's costume!

The struggles of trying to get a cute picture of two little girls, who didn't love being in those costumes anyway, let alone taking pictures! :)

Just Jaycee in the cute Halloween set up!

Jaycee was holding the camera and seemed like she was trying to take a picture, so I pushed the button for her, and this is what we got. I thought it was pretty funny!

Playing Halloween Bingo!!!

Guess who Ryan was......Cosmo Kramer from 'Seinfeld.' About 2 or 3 weeks ago, we were going to cut Ryan's hair. So he combed out the gel, and when he did, it got all poofy, I looked at and told him he looked like Kramer. A light bulb turned on in his head when I said that, and he said, "I should be him for Halloween!" So instead of cutting his hair then, he waited another couple of weeks, and really was Kramer! Isn't it perfect?!?! :)

Our little family in our costumes......I was a gypsy, Jaycee a ladybug, and Ryan was Kramer.

The gang and their costumes!

The four cute girls!

All the kids, some in costumes, some not!

Kayani REALLY wanted to touch Jaycee's costume! It was pretty cute!

Overall, we had a wonderful day! It was cloudy all day, but trick or treating was pretty warm...nothing like when I trick or treated as a kid....always having my costume covered by a warm coat and gloves and boots!!! Hope you all had a Happy Halloween too!
