More Aubree

So, Ryan had a VERY busy week with 2 jobs, and school projects, the week Aubree was born and wasn't able to meet her until Friday, October 24th. So here are some more pictures of her....
I wanted a picture of Jaycee with Aubree, but Jaycee didn't! :)
Here's a little bit better picture of Aubree. Isn't she soooooo cute?

Uncle Ryan with Aubree. Can you tell he's still a little nervous with little babies?!?!?! He's so funny!

Peach Pie

So, I'm sure many of you will think this a bit odd, but I have never made a pie before. So here is my very first pie....Peach Pie! Yum Yum Yummy! :) It turned out pretty good, eh? I am now going to attempt an apple pie soon too! So be waiting for that update....I'm sure you'll be on your toes until then!

Beautiful Aubree!

Benji and Stacy had their little girl today, October 20, 2008. Her name is Aubree Whicker. She weighed in at 7 lbs 5 oz 19 inches long. She looks JUST like her older brother, Ethan, and her Mommy! It is so fun to have had four nieces this year who will be the same age as Jaycee. She is so lucky to have so many close cousins! It'll be so fun for them! :)
Jaycee and Sierra playing, what looks like pat-a-cake, while waiting for Aubree. :)Jaycee really wanted to touch Sierra, but just reached for her instead. When Sierra would make any movement, though, she'd back right up!Jessica, Sierra, Me, Jaycee, Misti, & Aubree....such cute girls! (And, yes, I mean all 6 of us! :)The three youngest of the 4 girls born on my side of the family this year! It's so fun!The group who was there shortly after Aubree's arrival...Jessica, Aubree, Misti, Benji, Stacy (who looks too good if ya ask me!), Sierra, Mary, Me, Jaycee....Grandma was taking the picture! The only shot I got of just Aubree. Sorry it's not without her binky, if it was, you'd be able to see her mom's resemblance better.

Corn Maze

We went to Black Island Farms in Syracuse on Friday for UEA. It was pretty fun! It had a courtyard of many activities for the kids, a few corn mazes, a hayride, and a pumpkin patch. The boys had lots of fun on all those slides and such, and picking their pumpkins from the patch.

While on the hayride, we got to pick pumpkins. We were told to find the pumpkins we wanted, and then raise our hands for the guy to come cut them from their stems. Ryan put his hand up and then Jaycee stretched at the same time, so it looks like she's raising her hand too! It was pretty funny, so I took the picture.

So.....after being in the sun all day wearing a headband, may leave you with a slightly burnt head with a white stripe! :) I'm such a bad mom!!! :( It was a little funny, though. Ronnie said Kayani also has a permanent bow on her head from that day too! It may be a little hard to tell with these pictures, but if you look close, you may be able to see it!

Just Playing Around!

Jaycee got a new toy, and she likes it okay, as long as she isn't tired before she goes into it. When she actually pushes the piano keys, they play a short song, and she'll stand there and smile until it's done! It's pretty cute!

She also likes to sit in her crib and play with toys while I put her laundry away. That Gigantic bunny was won at one of our Easter Egg hunts, and she loves using it to help her sit up a little better.

Visiting Great Grandpa

My Great Grandpa turned 93 years old on Tuesday, October 14, 2008. We visited him on the Saturday before, and took these pictures!

Cereal

Jaycee got to eat cereal on October 6, 2008 because she was 5 months old! She HATED it! :)
Day 1.....

Very 1st Bite! Didn't quite like the idea.

Just looking at the spoon made her make that face. :)

The taste wasn't great either, I guess.

She didn't even like it in a bottle.

Day 2.....

STRIKE 2! Still did not like the cereal!

Day 3.....

Much better!

She'd still spit some out, but actually swallowed half of each bite! :)

Eating cereal and still smiling, we have success!

Ya think she's done? :)

Us in the Olden Days

I saw this thing called yearbookyourself.com and decided to have some fun with it, and this is what we came up with.....
Which ones are your favorites? Mine are Jaycee in 1964, Ryan in 1984, and Me in 1952.
