Goodbye Potluck for Richie

Richie and Jessica are here until July 8th for his last visit with family before he leaves to Afghanistan for a year. So, mom decided to have a potluck on his behalf with all our family! Thank you to all of you who showed up to support Mom and Richie! We had fun! Mom set up the little pool for all the kids who wanted to swim. So Jaycee's all ready to go swimming in her cute new swimsuit! So flipping adorable!!! I LOVE HER!!!

Only had been outside for about 3 minutes and is already too hot!!! :) Such a poser!

These two had lots of time to play before everyone else came.

Aubree wasn't quite as excited about it. It was pretty funny to watch Misti slowly lower her farther and farther down into the pool. Eventually she made it all the way in but it was super hilarious waiting for that moment! :)

Notice the GIANT looking bum! It was hilarious! I forgot her swim diaper, so I just put a regular diaper on just in case. I didn't think she really would pee or poop in the pool, but I just wanted to be safe. So only like 10 minutes later, she stands up all uncomfortable like and does not want to sit down anymore! Her diaper was SOAKED full of water, and she hated it! I was laughing so hard! So I just decided to take it all the way off and let her enjoy the last few minutes without one on. I just couldn't help but laugh at the way she was reacting to such a full diaper! :o)

Eventually Aubree got in with them, but only because Misti, Mom and I all put our feet in too. It felt great!

Aubree decided to get back in the pool after she was out of her swimsuit! :) Really, so did Sophie, and Jaycee and Ethan too, so they all got redressed and went swimming a second time! haha

Syracuse Heritage Days 2010

Syracuse Heritage Days is a whole week full of fun! Thursday we were able to enjoy the Circus Parade at the park! Jaycee and Sierra had lots of fun, I think and it was fun taking them!They got their faces painted right when we got there. Jaycee got pink butterflies to match her outfit, and Sierra got purple stars to match her outfit. Such cute girls! Train ride! They had fun, but were a little nervous about it a little bit too...as long as Sierra could see someone, she was okay. :o) They got to dig for candy for about 20 seconds in the pit of balls! Sierra kept wanting to eat the candy through the wrappers....ewe! Fishing for ducks or fish for a treat! Woohoo! Fifi the clown made them balloon animals. They each got a mouse, and Jaycee kept calling hers her 'fat mouse.' Thanks to daddy's new nickname for her! :o) She's so funny! This clown thought he had a big belly......think again man! I totally win! :o}

Saturday morning was the parade. It is right in front of our house, so everyone came over to watch it with us! Aubree sitting with her favorite Aunt waiting for the parade to start. Notice she has her candy bag ready to fill! Just waiting! I was able to do all three girls' hair and it was super fun! :) Here comes the flag! The girls were so cute when we showed them how to put their hands over their hearts. :) Jaycee had her hand on her heart and the other hand was dancing to the music she could hear. hehehe Jaycee waving! She was so cute...she waved to everyone and danced whenever music went by. Everyone who saw her would wave back and smile. I'm sure they couldn't help themselves, she's just so adorable! Aubree got these glasses from one of the floats! Isn't she darling!?!? Jaycee's turn to try them on. But look at that expression, she sure knows how to work it! :) And now for Sierra's look! She is still eating all the candy/Popsicles she can get her hands on! :o) Their winnings at the parade! Ethan got a GIANT bag on his own. Aubree and Jaycee shared one, because Aubree LOVED going out and grabbing the candy and Jaycee only wanted to go out every once in a while when it looked like it was worth it! Sierra also got a pretty full bag of her own, but it was already ready go home, therefore it is not shown in this picture. It was TONS of candy, though. So, Mom said she went to go see what these girls were doing and she found them both in this place/position pooping!!!! :o) Too funny! Although, stinker Jaycee has been trying to potty train for the last little bit and still just can't get down that she can tell someone when she needs to poop in the potty! So frustrating! But hopefully we can get that handled soon!

Minute 2 Win It......with friends!

Kami & Ryan were in charge of our monthly dinner for June, and they did a great job! We had steak, potatoes, and corn on the cob and it was delicious! Thanks guys! They also decided that for an activity, we would play a homemade version of "Minute 2 Win It." It was super super fun! They had the girls against boys sort of elimation game and planned some of the great games! The kids had fun watching too and playing together. Sadly the Baham's couldn't join us, but everyone else was there, so it was tons of fun! Jaycee and Cathan playing.

The final guys' challenge....sucking up an M&M on the end of a straw while trying to put it on another straw across the room! Looked SUPER hard to me, and both Ryan's were the finalists. My Ryan only got one M&M on (they had to do 5), and Waiters got all 5!!! It was amazing!

Waiters won the boys and I (that's right, baby!) won the girls! It was lots of fun! Thank you Kami and Ryan for planning such a great night for us all to enjoy!

Chuck-E-Cheese

To spend time with Talon, Owen and Kayani before they leave to Montana, Ethan has been able to spend the night at Mom's with them the last few nights. So today before Ethan went home, we decided to take them to Chuck-E-Cheese! Jaycee had never been there, and she loved it! I haven't been there for years, but it was fun to watch them have so much fun! Jaycee loves to drive, so she had grandma help her once and then had to go back for more later with mommy, and wanted to drive with the doggy! We tried this a few times and this was the best one we could get...so even though they're all hard to see, Ethan, Talon, Jaycee, and Owen are all in there somewhere! :) With all the tickets together at the end, they were each able to get two prizes and a sucker. Jaycee chose these and is proudly showing them off to the camera after in the hot hot car!

Talon's Kindergarten Graduation

Talon graduated from Kindergarten today! Misti and I were able to take Owen, Ethan, Kayani, and Jaycee and go to it. It was a super hot day, but it was fun for the kids, and we all had lots of fun!
