Christmas Day!!!

So we all slept in on Christmas morning! We had to be at Mom's at 10am, but Jaycee woke up around 7am, and I decided to put her back to sleep until about an hour later. Then she and I woke up daddy and we started our very own Christmas! =) Jaycee had a lot more fun this year, since she knew whatever was UNDER the wrapping paper was the good thing, not just the paper itself! It was lots of fun, we loved watching her open her gifts this year. She got so many babies and things for her babies, she loved it! By the time the last two presents came, she was DONE opening them, so Ryan and I opened the last two for her! She hasn't stopped carrying around at least two babies at a time each day, all day, plus whatever else she thinks she needs to try and juggle with them!

The stroller was a big hit! She loves pushing her babies in this, and the carrier comes out too! It's pretty cute, I thought!

Daddy put this kitchen together the day after, and she loves to bake!

After our own Christmas, we went over to Mom's to have breakfast, take jammie pictures, play games, and just feel the love all day! It was great! :o) Love having family so so close! We truly are blessed! Sure missed you Richie, Jessica, & cute Sierra! Mwah!

Jaycee and Grandma by the tree.My cute baby girl by her sock! Notice her crimped hair? Thanks to Steph (I was able to borrow her crimper), we crimped her hair for Christmas! I thought it turned out pretty cute! It was also crimped in the Christmas Eve pictures, just not done as cute. :o)The goofy three on the far left! Totally them!Family jammie pictures....oldest to youngest...Mom's household, Cody's family, Benji's family, our family, & Jack's family! Still need that picture of Richie's family so I can include it! :)All the girlie's!All the boys! And all the crew! Aren't we so cute?!?!?! :o}Mom's very much needed present from us...serving utensils, measuring cups, etc. She apparently was happy about it too!Just a cute one of Aubs, Beej, & Jayce! The boys got swords and jousting sticks from grandma, and thoroughly enjoyed them! =)Jaycee was ready for a nap just before opening presents...but she was a trooper and stayed awake until right after she was done......see, this was taken only about 2 minutes after the picture above! It was a pretty quick progression to nap time. And she had to hold her baby and it's blanket she just opened from grandma, and her "chokate" milk, of course!Daddy thought a nap was a good idea, too! Although he had already had one that morning after our own Christmas...for 45 minutes! :)The girls and their dollies! Now don't think little Jackson's not a good baby...this was just when he was starving! And of course I had to document the cute sad face he has! :-} I'm just the weird aunt who loves the sad faces! He was such a good boy all day!

Christmas Eve

Our next stop on the couple days of Christmas was at Ryan's parent's. Every year we have Christmas with them on Christmas Eve. We exchange names, have dinner, and Diana spoils everyone! More so the little girls now days, but still everyone! :o)
Opening their first gifts...Brooklyn had gotten a sled from her daddy earlier, which they pulled around the house and then later used to store all gifts, as you can see above.Elmo jammies & "bippas" (slippers) from grandma! The best gift they got that night...vacuums! Tommy the vacuum, to be exact! He talks as they push and neither one of them wanted to put them down for even half a second!Brooklyn's poopin' squat! :-) We discovered that little smokies are not good for little girls...being there for only 5 1/2 hours, both Jaycee & Brooklyn pooped 3 times EACH!!!! I think we'll hold off on that much meat in one night for a while! :o)Mandy's family's pile of gifts. One of which was a Bumbo for their baby. Jaycee liked to get in and out of it throughout the night, but NOTICE she could not let go of the vacuum in the process! =) Silly girl!Annual picture in their jammies...notice below the difference one year makes... ...pretty fun, huh? Such cute girls they have become!Okay, we all know how much Jaycee likes books! Grandma always reads a Christmas story to us on Christmas eve, and Jaycee was sitting on my lap (where the pictures was taken from) to begin the story, but got so excited, that she had to get closer to the book! I thought this was a cute picture of her listening and looking at the pictures! :-)

Christmas Pajamas

We started off our couple days of Christmas stopping at Mom's on Christmas Eve to open up pajamas! Lot's of fun! Too many kids to enjoy! We sure did miss Richie's family, though! Love you guys! Family pictures by the tree.Ryan wanted me to document that Aubree went to him and sat on his lap for more than 1 minute! :-) She's changing so much and is so happy all the time, now!The annual 'let's see how tall you are next to the pajama boxes' it's so fun to see how they compare to each other!Talon wanted to hold Jackson, and was so proud!Jaycee holding her pajamas up to her after opening them! She always does this with clothes, it's so funny to me!Two of the biggest nerds you'll ever meet!Talon specifically asked me to take this picture after he sat next to his little sister on the stairs and thought it would be a great picture! And, it was! :o) Too cute! The stretchy faced lion!Had to try it after Uncle Ryan did, of course!Talon too!

Christmas Pictures

Mom and Mary came over Sunday to take a picture of us for our Christmas card. Here are some we captured!

Jaycee has loved to get out Christmas books off the fireplace and read them all month! She loves books!

Tried to get her singing some of her Christmas songs, she's been singing all month as well...it's pretty cute. Wish she would've actually sang them like she does all day long, but this is the best I could get for now. Also, she loves playing with the manger scenes, so I tried to get how she says, "Baby Deses" "Mommy Mawy" & "Daddy Dosuph." It's pretty cute!

We also went to visit Grandma & Grandpa Hatch that evening. They have a life size Santa that sings and dances when you walk past him. Jaycee was okay with it at first, but then decided she could NOT walk past that thing anymore, or at least without holding some one's hand! :o)

2nd round......

That's right...that is growing inside of me as we speak! :o) We are so excited for Jaycee to be a big sister! She often refers to the baby in mommy's belly as, "Jaycee's baby." (as she points to her own belly) We are due in July on Talon's birthday, July 12th! But will most likely have it on July 5th. We weren't planning on telling ANYONE until February when we find out what it is, BUT after getting the due date, we decided it was going to be too hard to keep it in any longer! ;-) So now you all know! We'll certainly keep you updated!

Owen's 5th Birthday

We went to Owen's birthday party last night! He turned 5, and looked a lot taller yesterday. Weird how that seems to happen. :o) Happy birthday O-Boz!!! We love you!
Singing 'Happy Birthday' & blowing out the cake! Cody thought he'd be funny and move the cake around as Owen tried to blow out the candles...silly dads!Everyone who came to celebrate...well the ones I got a picture of, at least!Opening presents!Playing the game he got for his birthday...looks fun, eh?
