Laps & Shoes

Brooklyn tells Jaycee, as she pats her own lap, "Jayce, lap. Jayce, lap." So Jaycee sits on her lap and they either hug, or read, or watch TV. It's pretty cute! This happens often, but I was recently able to capture one!

The girls LOVE shoes now, and are exploring all kinds putting them on and stuff. This time, Brooklyn decided to put on her mommy's...

The next contestants on "Dancing with the Stars"

Enough said! :) You can't help but giggle when you see these cute kiddo's dancing! I love, love, love it! Every time a good "dancing" song came on both girls dropped whatever they were doing and ran to the TV to dance. Like that's their whole purpose in life! Kayani has quite the moves, and of course Owen had to join in to get on camera! Too funny!

Bubbly Cousins

The girls decided they wanted to blow bubbles thanks to Uncle Nathan getting them out for them, so we took them outside and played around! They had fun, but sure do get distracted easily! :)
This one was funny 'cause it looks like Jaycee is holding Brooklyn! :)Too stinking adorable for words!

Mischief

Something that happens at least twice a day at our house...

disassembling the fridge, and then putting it all back! Oh the joys of having mischievous little kids around! :)

Let's Go Fly a Kite...

Jeff had brought a kite to dinner last Sunday, and wanted to fly it really bad. So we all went out after dinner and flew it. It was fairly windy, so it worked out okay. It took a little while to get it up, but once Jeff ran it to the front yard, and had room out in the road to get it high, it stayed up really well until someone pulled it in. The girls thought it was pretty fun and even helped hold it up some of the time!

The girls taking their turns looking at the "dinosaur" and trying to "help" fly it.

Watching Ryan fly it.

Just being her cute little self!

Brooklyn was holding the string and they were both supposed to be holding it, but they didn't quite grasp the concept since it was so little and they could only have one hand each on it.

Chilling on the porch watching the kite.

A bad picture...but both girls were sitting on grandpa's lap looking up at the kite, and when grandma wanted to take the picture, because they were all being so cute, Jaycee had to show her the kite, thus covering Brooklyn's face, and grandpa hurried to look down, and ended up looking funny! Oh well...it was still cute!

Can ya tell Jaycee is saying, "cheese?"

Helping daddy hold the kite up!

Random Pictures!

I stole these off of Diana's computer the other day. (Thanks, even though you probably didn't know I took them!) I just thought there were some really cute pictures she had of the girls. I don't get fun pictures like this because Brooklyn doesn't come play at my house! :) Since she watches both of them every day together, she gets lots more opportunities, so here are some fun pictures.

They love to dance together! Grandma got them matching outfits, and they look so cute in them!

Silly Jaycee! I'm assuming she was playing peek-a-boo or something. I think it's cute!

Lego mess with Aunt Mel! Such cute girls!

Making "cakes" with grandma's bowls and spoons! They love to do this, whether with nothing or with Cheerios in the bowls!

Just one of her cute dresses...kind reminds me of Minnie Mouse, but that's okay, because Ryan calls her mini all the time! :)

I think this was the Sunday of her birthday dinner at grandma's. Nathan had a birthday present for her, but didn't want to bring it to her party on Wednesday, because people may have seen that he actually loved her, so he gave it to her that Sunday! It was a big stuffed Scooby Doo.

It's kind of hard to see, but Nathan put some of the monkeys from "Monkeys in a Barrel" on Jaycee's ears, and then added some to her dress. She actually didn't mind and kept them on for quite a while and now tries to put them on herself, thinking it's funny! Silly Uncle Nathan! :)

Happy Anniversary Baby!

Three Years!!! I can't believe how fast time flies, but it's certainly been great! Thanks babe for all you have done for me in the last 3 years! I love you soooooo much! To celebrate, we were able to stay in Park City for a couple of nights. It was lots of fun! Jaycee was able to stay with Diana for one night and my Mom for the other and I'm so grateful for their help. Glad to have family close to help us out and let us be together on our anniversary!

We went up on Monday afternoon and went to the outlets to check out the good Labor Day sales. We didn't find any great sales, but we did find Ryan a swimming suit since he forgot to pack his, and got Jaycee a couple of outfits too, of course! :) We went back to the hotel and went swimming, which isn't something we get to do very often, so it was lots of fun!

Tuesday we slept in for the first time in a very long time, and it felt great! Then we were able to go up to the Alpine Slide and Coaster! They were lots of fun, but I was really scared on the coaster...I'm not a huge fan of those types of things, but it was fun anyway. The slide was fun because we went down at the same time, but were on different slides, and the coaster was fun because we were able to go together, but the problem with that was that Ryan had control of the speed, and I felt like I was going to fly out on the turns! Really. It was lots of fun, though! Thanks babe for doing that with me!

On the ski lift up to the slide, which was super slow and high up in the air.

Just before going down the slide.

On our way to the top of the coaster.

Just before going down the coaster, and being scared out of my mind!!!! You can see part of it behind us.

Afterward, we went out to dinner and played lots of phase 10!!!! Then we slept in a little bit, but had to be checked out by 10 am, and headed home after getting some breakfast!

It was weird not have Jaycee with us, but it was great to be able to spend time alone. She seemed happy to see us when we picked her up, though! Thanks again, mom, Misti, and Diana for helping out with her!

Swiss Days!

This year, I was able to get work off, and so was Misti, so we went up to Midway for Swiss days on Friday morning and stayed till Sunday morning! It was great fun! Mom and Aunt Terry came too, so it was just the 5 of us, and it was so much fun! Nice and relaxing and full of shopping! :)

We stopped at the outlets in Park City on the way and Aunt Terry got a few things. Then we ate lunch and were able to meet up with some friends to say hello before heading to the hotel. Once at the hotel, we decided we didn't want to go to Swiss Days until Saturday, so we relaxed, went to dinner with friends, and then came back and swam. I forgot the camera, so no pictures of Jaycee swimming, but she had lots of fun, and thanks to Benji and Stacy, we were able to use their float toy for her to swim in. She'd kick her feet while in it, though, and spin in circles. :) It was pretty cute! The next day we went to Swiss Days, it rained on us a little, and then we went back to the hotel and relaxed till we left the next morning. Thanks girls for letting us join you every year! I love it!

We had a lot of naps! :)

Jaycee's pretty pony tail with Aunt Terry's scrunchy. She was very proud of that!

Jayce didn't want to sit by the giant frog herself, so Aunt Misti sat with her.

She loves her sunglasses and looks so adorable in them!

She loved this playground, especially the slide. Mom decided to push her in the swing just before heading for home on Sunday morning, and she fell asleep while swinging! So as you can imagine...she was asleep in the car before even leaving the parking lot! :)

After wearing her glasses all morning, by putting them on herself after digging them out of the bag, she pushed them up onto her forehead all by herself also! She's so smart! Anyway, from doing so, it pushed her ears forward, this picture doesn't do it justice, but it was pretty funny looking! :)

Too Cute!

Relaxing in the car. She does this all the time now, in the car, on the couch, in your arms...she's just too cute! :)
Trying to tease me, by pulling her hands out from behind her head. Stubborn little girly! See, she does this all the time, while sleeping, while trying to fall asleep, while riding in the car...pretty much all the time! Too stinkin' cute! :)
