Just Cute

Here are just some cute pictures and a video I thought you might all enjoy...

Just showing off her walking skills!

Thinks she can go up the stairs all by herself and STAND on them without falling over backwards! Yeah, right. There have already been a few times I have caught her, and yet, it doesn't scare her from doing it!Just showing what a good walker she has become! So big! Sitting on a big chair at Grandma's counter! It works great, because for now, we can just scoot it in all the way and it hugs her in there since the sides come around kind of. She stays there and eats (with someone close at all times) when Kayani is using the highchair! She's kind of waving to the camera, too, but looks more like she's giving a lecture of some sort! :) If you look close to your left, you can kind of notice a tiny barrette. She's finally getting hair long enough to do something other than just put a headband in.Her cute first summer outfit of the season....too bad she had to wear winter clothes the very next day! Stupid Utah weather!

Happy Birthday/St. Patrick's Day

Sunday we celebrated mine & Natalie's birthdays at mom's house. Mine is today, and Natalie's is on the 20th! We got together and had dinner, and cake & ice cream, and just play around. It was great fun! I love getting together with everyone! I love my family, and I'm so grateful for all they do for us, they're wonderful!

Jayce in her St. Patrick's Day dress.

Me with my green birthday cake!Natalie with her mysterious birthday cake! :)This is the answer to why that cake is so mysterious.....Jack is pregnant!!!! :) j/k Of course, he's going to be a daddy, but he is obviously not the one who is pregnant! They are due November 3rd, I believe. We are all so excited! The fun will never end with all the babies entering our crazy family! Natalie said she has already been so sick. So hopefully, for her sake, that will pass and she will be able to enjoy this wonderful experience. Congratulations you two!Just cute little Sierra being silly! I had lots of green necklaces, thanks to Uncle Kent, so we took them and shared them with all the kids, and Sierra just wanted to suck on hers, but thought it was easy to just put it in her mouth, and let it hang, rather than hold it in with her hands! :) She's so stinking big, and her personality is coming out more and more, and it's so dang cute!Everyone just hanging out and eating cake & ice cream. Notice Kayani on Jack's lap being a pig, she has cake all over the place! I guess Jack will learn how to control that soon enough! :) I love the boys' faces too, it really shows all their personalities pretty well!Cute Aub's, who now blows bubbles and thinks she's pretty funny! She's getting so big too, and still looks a lot like her brother!Poor Jessica was trying to eat her cake & ice cream in peace, but now that two little beggar girls are mobile, she couldn't eat hers all by herself, instead, she had to share, just to keep them from climbing on her! :)

I just want you to notice the "love" in these two songs...watch mine first, then Natalie's.

Even if they hurt me like that on my birthday, I know they still do truly love me! :) Like I said, crazy, crazy people these poor children have to learn to live with! And, by the way Natalie, you won't get it so great for too much longer, so enjoy that one while you could!

Jaycee and Puppy

My cousin, Rex, got a Great Dane puppy. She is 12 weeks old, and is much bigger than Jaycee. He brought her over and Jaycee loved looking at her but only from a distance! It was pretty cute. One of the times, Ilsa (the pup) came right up to Jaycee's face, and Jaycee grabbed her snout and pushed her away. It was so funny. She is a very pretty puppy and was well behaved. Rex says she'll be full grown by the end of the year or something like that, which is amazing to me.
She just wasn't quite sure what to think! But was still very cute with her. We tried to get her to pet the dog, but she wouldn't allow that. She'd immediately pull her hand away.

Oh NO, She's Walking!!!!

Jaycee wasn't satisfied with crawling for too long....she officially took her first steps on March 10th, but here are some videos of her still trying to master the walking a couple of days later. The last one is of her being stubborn and not walking, so I just got her to wave instead. She waves at everyone and everything all the time!

Jaycee Loves her Daddy

Ryan plays games with Jaycee all the time, and it is so cute. His normal thing is to leave the room and then start saying, "fee fie foe fum, I smell the blood of a Jaycee-man..." and as he does that, Jaycee looks around the room and then once she sees him coming, she'll crawl toward him, or just sit in anticipation grinning from ear to ear. Once he gets closer, she'll turn and crawl away from him. It's pretty cute! It's like she's not scared of him, but yet she knows he wants her to run. So here are a couple of videos so you can hear her cute laugh, and see how much she LOVES it when daddy plays with her.

Pictures

Okay, here are the pictures Natalie was so gracious enough to take for us on Valentine's Day! We had Jaycee's done since she just turned 9 months old, and thought we should have another family one taken since the last one was July 2008, and Jaycee is MUCH bigger now!

These four are my favorite ones! Natalie captured some pretty good poses, and faces with Jaycee. These are the better of the family ones. It was so bright outside that neither Ryan nor Jaycee could keep their eyes open! So it was hard to find ones that worked out. Natalie did a great job, though, despite the people she had to work with. :) Thanks Nat!I just think this is a cute "innocent" look of hers. This one looks like she's playing the guitar in an air band!I thought these ones were pretty funny! Jack kept trying to get her to smile, and some of the things he would do, she'd look at him with this confused look on her face. It was pretty funny, so I'm glad Natalie was able to capture some of them! :)

Overall, we are very satisfied with these! Thanks again Natalie for helping us out! If any of you would like her to take pictures for you, let me know and I can give you her information!

Funny Face

So, this is Jaycee's "It's just too bright out here!" face. She does it ALL the time even if it's really not bright, and there is no sun out. So I thought I should capture it on camera, and this is the best I could get.

Jaycee is 9 Months Old!!!

Wow! I cannot believe how fast time flies! Jaycee is 9 months old as of Feb. 6, 2009, and she is getting so big! She went to the doctor for her check up today, so here are her stats: 27.2 inches tall (35%) 17.9 lbs (25%) head is 17 cm (25%) Some fun things she has learned to do:
  • Crawl...finally!
  • Says, "dada" & "mama" & sometimes "ba" (ball)
  • "Cruise" (what they do when they pull themselves up on things and walk around the room holding onto things). This she does ALL the time, even onto things we would rather her not pull herself up on.
  • Jibber Jabber ALL the time (one of these days I will catch it on video, it is the cutest little voice you've ever heard).
  • Will fall asleep all by herself in her own bed! She actually prefers this and will not fall asleep for us in our arms when we are other places, like church, etc.
  • She finally has her 2 bottom teeth (they came in within like 2 days of turning 9 months old), I think her top ones are working their way through soon too.
  • She dances to music, but differently than she did before...now it is by shaking her head "no." It's pretty cute!
  • She has tasted real food, not just her baby food, although that is still her main nutrition. And she can feed herself her snacks, she does still struggle sometimes, but loves it when she can.
  • She is finally getting a little hair on top. It looks like it'll be blond w/ possibly a little bit of her daddy's curl. Yay! :)
  • She is still our little daredevil, also.....she likes to climb as high as she can on one of her toys, that is VERY dangerous, but refuses to stop even though we tell her not to, AND she has fallen from doing so!

She will be getting her pictures taken soon, by Aunt Natalie, so those will be posted as soon as we get them!

Bowling & Baptisms

So, Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009 we were able to go down to Spanish Fork and spend the day with some of Ryan's family. His two youngest cousins were baptized, but not at the same time. Briley's was in the morning (and it was her birthday that day) and Blaine's was in the evening. So in between, we all went bowling to pass the time. It was a lot of fun to spend time with them all! They all loved Jaycee as you will see in the pictures, but that's not hard to do! :) We were very glad to be able to spend that day with Briley and Blaine, and we are very proud of them for making that decision. Congratulations, you two!

Just standing around playing with Jaycee!

Jaycee with Ryan's Aunt KarenKayden, Ryan & Grandma watching their teammate bowl while eating pizza.

Lovely Ryan!

Cute Jaycee with McKinley

Waiting our turn...Me, Ryan's Uncle Dave, & his Aunt Karen

Grandpa, Jaycee & McKinley...none of them bowled, so they were able to keep an eye on Jaycee for us!

Jaycee & Ryan's Aunt Lisa. Jaycee was sooooo tired at the beginning of the bowling, but would not go to sleep in anyone's arms, because she would rather fall asleep on her own in her bed. But eventually she got tired enough, that she finally fell asleep, and Lisa LOVED that it was on her shoulder!

Now it was Grandma's turn.

Briley (the birthday girl!), Grandma, and sleeping Jaycee!
